Sign up, pick your interests and build your own custom lock screen. Found something that interests you on the lock screen? Swipe left to see more of that content. About to make a phone call or text? Simply swipe right (like you normally do) to go to your home screen. Intrigued by the content you are seeing, but no time to enjoy it? Swipe up to “like” a piece content and you can find it within the app when you are ready. Check out the full tutorial here.
Trending stories - Curated for you based on your interests, swiping habits, and time of the day by editors at Locket Viral videos - Be the first of your friends to know the next internet superstar! Inspiring pictures - Make your lock screen delightful Weather - Don’t be left without an umbrella ever again Your favorite photos - Throw in your favorite photos on your lock screen
Sometimes a piece of content falls into multiple categories, but on the lock screen we only assign one, colorful “tag”. For example, if Justin Bieber has the most insane concert ever, the main tag may be “Music” - which you don’t follow - but you will still see it because you follow the “Celebs & Gossip” category. We will only add multiple tags to a piece of content if it genuinely applies to both categories and we believe will appreciate seeing it.

We check our phone over 110 times per day and we believe there’s more to your lock screen than a boring, static picture of a flower. Since March 2013, we’ve been experimenting with how to create value on the lock screen and what people want to see on the lock screen. When we first began, we put ads on your lock screen and rewarded you for unlocking your phone. We’ve seen that people loved getting paid per swipe but realized that the business model didn’t work. (More info here on http://blog.getlocket.com/) What we also found was that people loved getting interesting content on the lock screen ranging from funny pictures and videos to breaking news and inspiring stories. We’re excited about what we can bring to the lock screen and this is only the beginning. Thanks for supporting us!
